Boat Life & Safety

Welcome Aboard!

We understand how important the details matter to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, here are some of the features you can find aboard the Magnolia Grace during your next adventure at sea.

Mobility & Agility

MAGNOLIA GRACE is designed for comfortable and relaxed cruising.  Although she possesses ample headroom and passage space, access to the boat and all living and recreation areas require the use of stairs or steps.  Feel free to review our photo and video page for more detail.

Space Limitations-Luggage

Life is simpler on a boat. Depending on the length of your stay onboard, consider the need for excess clothing, accessories and toiletries. Certainly, you should come prepared for dinners ashore as appropriate, but pack light when possible. Some closet and drawer space is available in your living quarters.

Heads & Showers

Onboard heads (toilets) are narrow in nature, but easily accessed. The forward head is electrically operated using fresh water. The aft head employs the use of a simple hand pump and uses sea water. Both are very simple to operate. The two onboard showers are designed to accommodate bathing in all sea conditions. The molded tubs provide for both standing shower space and safe “seated” showers when needed. Both are of “step in” design with a two-foot ledge. Showers operate using stored fresh water when at sea and shore water when docked (when available). Due to storage tank limitations, maximum water conservation at all times, including showers, is highly encouraged.

Phone & Internet Access

A private and secure MIFI system aboard will provide internet access when near shore antennas.

Be sure to pack chargers for all devices you may bring.

Weather Concerns & Sailing Policy

Weather happens. Should your stay on MAGNOLIA GRACE be influenced by inclement weather that may deter safe sea crossings, other destination options can be explored to maximize your enjoyment during your time onboard. Please see our “BOOK YOUR EXPERIENCE” page for our options and policies should weather or storms be projected to affect your future experience onboard.
